Embracing a low profile mid-century gabled endcap space in a small shopping center, Eleanor exemplifies the idea of enhancing the value of the time period with the needs of today. The overall space remains intact with new opportunities for light and volume created by a raised clerestory vault and new garage doors that extend out to a large patio space. The patio is set within an enhanced Polynesian style garden that is flanked by the existing shopping center and a relocated mid-century structure restaurant space.
